        Amereican Idol第六季第六集的时候，在L.A.，一个64岁的老人拿着一摞他征集来的签名，希望主办方能破格（选手年龄限制在16-28岁）让他进行海选的演唱。他这么做是为了能让癌症在床的妻子振作一些，走的时候能更轻松一些，安详一些。海选的两天前，他的妻子去世了，但他还是带着那些签名来现场报名了。评委们欣然接受，他缓缓唱出这首'You belong to me'，献给他已经去世的妻子。结果俺这种没经历过什么真正的生离死别的人却眼泪哗哗的。不得不承认，那种历经岁月，饱含深情却波澜不惊的歌声，没活到岁数的人，是学不来的。
